In this 4-day workshop, participants develop a deeper understanding of precise work with porcelain on the potter's wheel. The focus is on refining control and sensitivity when handling this demanding material, as well as developing a conscious eye for form and proportion.

Together, vessel shapes are developed that are based on Jaejun's practice – including mainly Moon Jars, but also vessels with narrow openings as well as smaller, functional objects such as straight cups and bowls.

In addition, Jaejun teaches techniques from the Korean ceramic tradition, including "throwing off the hump", which allows for the efficient production of multiple shapes.

Participants will also have the opportunity to purchase Jaejun's special tools directly from him.
