When designing our pottery in Zurich, it was important to us to make the space both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Simple but effective: a mix of wood, steel and green plants as well as good lighting conditions create an atmospheric ambience. Our studio offers the following:
Two large and bright rooms with:
- Three work tables for hand-built clay works - Members Only
- Twelve turntables - Members Only
- Four kilns (no odour emissions are produced during firing)
- Two slab rollers
- A wedging table
- A small kitchen
- A spray booth
- Over 125 different glazes
- A spray booth to take your pieces to the next level
A separate workshop room with:
- 6 turntables and 6 places for hand-building
- A shop for direct sales, where your creations can also be sold.

Do you have a pottery studio at home and don't know where you can fire the pieces you have created? We also offer a firing service at our pottery in Zurich. You can send us an e-mail and let us know which clay and glaze you are working with. We can then inform you about the feasibility and prices.

What equipment is included in the db pottery studio?
Two large, bright rooms with three worktables for hand-building (members only), twelve pottery wheels (members only), four kilns (odor-free), two slab rollers, wedging tables, a small kitchenette, a spray booth, and over 125 different glazes. In addition, there is a separate workshop room with six pottery wheels and six workstations for hand-building, as well as a shop for direct sales.
Can I give a gift certificate for pottery lessons?
Yes. The voucher can easily be ordered via the online shop; the value is freely selectable or can be adjusted to the price of a course.
Do you offer a firing service if I do my own pottery at home?
Yes. Simply send an email specifying the clay and glaze you will be working with – db pottery will then inform you about feasibility and prices.
What do I get as a member of the studio?
