On the potter's wheel, clay is transformed into something truly personal.
In this workshop you will learn the basics of pottery throwing and create your own bowls or mugs. The focus is on the shared experience and the joy of the craft, as each person creates two unique ceramic pieces.
Up to seven people work individually at the potter's wheel; for larger groups, we work in tandem.

In this event, you'll combine throwing on the potter's wheel with the possibilities of hand-building. You'll rotate between stations in teams, allowing all participants to learn both creative techniques from scratch.

Your new favorite mug will be created from a single piece of clay.
In this two-hour workshop, each participant will design their own mug or cup by hand. Using simple techniques and with our support, you'll create unique ceramic pieces, no prior experience necessary.

What team event formats does db pottery offer?
Three formats: potter's wheel (turning, each person makes two individual pieces, up to seven people individually, larger groups in tandem), the potter's wheel combined with hand building (station change between both techniques) and the cup in hand building (two-hour workshop, no prior knowledge required).
What is included in the price of a team event?
Materials, glazes, and firing costs are included, along with an aperitif of your choice. Your custom-designed ceramic pieces can be picked up after approximately 3-4 weeks.
How large can our group be for a team event?
Up to seven people work individually at the potter's wheel; larger groups work in tandem.
Will you still come to us even if we already have a location?
Yes. As a mobile pottery studio, db pottery is happy to come to an existing location.
