Before you apply for an event, please read the general terms and conditions carefully.

General Terms and Conditions: Event

  1. Booking and payment
    1.1 Booking confirmation: Registrations for events must be made in writing via email. The booking becomes contractually binding once a written confirmation/invoice is issued.

    1.2 Prices and VAT: All event prices include statutory VAT.

    1.3 Payment terms: Invoices are due and payable immediately upon receipt.

  2. Cancellation policy
    2.1 Processing fee: A flat fee of CHF 200 will be charged for each cancellation after confirmation of the reservation.

    2.2 Tiered cancellation fees:
    – 1 month before the event: 20% cancellation fee.
    – 2 weeks before the event: 50% cancellation fee.
    – 24 hours or less before the start: No refund (100% cancellation fee).

  3. Event details and completion
    3.1 Duration of the event: Events last between 2 and 3 hours, depending on the type of event.

    3.2 Finishing and collection of the objects: Following each event, all created objects are finished, glazed, and fired by the studio team. The finished pieces are ready for collection within four weeks.

  4. Catering and aperitif options
    4.1 Mini-aperitif (Included / Free): Includes a welcome drink (1 glass of Prosecco or 1 beer), a selection of non-alcoholic drinks, and small snacks and nibbles.

    4.2 Apéro: Includes a seasonal selection of fine snacks and regional specialties. The exact selection can be discussed during the inquiry process and, where possible, tailored to your preferences.

    4.3 Apéro Riche: A seasonal, multi-course aperitif for team events. The current menu is available upon request; special requests will be accommodated where possible.

  5. Liability and insurance
    5.1 Studio liability: db pottery studio GmbH accepts no liability for loss of or damage to personal belongings on the premises, nor for injuries or accidents that occur during studio activities.

    5.2 Responsibilities of the participants: Participants are responsible for maintaining adequate accident and personal liability insurance for all activities at db pottery studio GmbH.

  6. Applicable law and jurisdiction
    6.1 Applicable Law: All legal disputes relating to events organized by db pottery studio GmbH are subject to Swiss law.

    6.2 Place of jurisdiction: The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Zurich.
