Ceramic 3D printing

This workshop begins with an introduction to the world of 3D printing and its various possibilities. Participants will learn the principles of the software used, work individually on laptops, and have the opportunity to try out and use the necessary tools themselves. Participants will learn the tools to create some digital objects on their own. They will spend some time exploring the possibilities and limitations of 3D printing.

Additionally, participants will learn how to go from the CAD model through the slicing program to the finished printed object. Equipped with a wide range of tools, creativity in the digital space knows no bounds. The goal of the workshop is to introduce ceramic 3D printing and provide an overview of the possibilities of digital ceramic printing. We hope to inspire you with the fifth ceramic shaping technique and are excited to see what unique objects we will create together in this workshop.

The resulting objects are then printed using the 3D PotterBot MICRO 10.

All manufactured objects are raw-fired. They can also be glazed and high-fired for an additional charge.

This workshop is ideal for beginners and newcomers to digital sound production.
