This workshop begins with an introduction to Karina's work and studio and a discussion of a "vessel moodboard".

Karina will explain the historical background, shapes, textures and decorations and discuss them in the group.

The participants will then begin to think about an individual form. Some initial sketches will be created, which can change and develop intuitively during the course of the workshop.

Karina will introduce the participants to the coiling technique and the slab technique for creating the base of the vessel as well as the rolling out of beads and the scoring and slip method for the walls of the vessels.

During the three days (10,11,12/11), the participants have the opportunity to discuss their progress and review their successes individually.

The last day of this workshop series is dedicated to surface treatment and decoration.

All manufactured objects are burnt on high.

This course is suitable for beginners as well as advanced students who want to refine their technique.

Cancellation by participants: No refund for cancellations within 7 days before the start of the course or after the start of the course. Free cancellation 14 or more days before the course starts. We charge a fee of CHF 50 for cancellations 7-14 days before the course starts.
Course cancellation by organiser: If the course is cancelled by the organiser, the course fee will be refunded in full.
Substitute participant: Admission of substitute participants is permitted.
