This intensive pottery course is aimed at anyone seeking a more intensive approach to clay. Over a period of seven weeks, it offers you the opportunity to continuously familiarise yourself with the wheel and deepen your pottery skills. The course takes place once a week on a specific day of the week and lasts 3 hours. At the end of the course you can take home 6-12 self-made pieces. The cost of materials and firing is included in the price.
You choose the start date and then attend the course for a further six consecutive weeks on the same day of the week. Different language options are available (DE & ENG).
Pottery intensive course - What you will learn in these 7 weeks:
You will learn how to wedge, centre the clay, break up, pull up, shape, cut, make handles and glaze. The course is tailored to your individual needs.
Course details:
- Course duration: 21 hours, 3 hours each over a period of 7 weeks, always on the same day of the week and at the same time
- Course teacher: db pottery team
- Language: German and English
- Course duration: 3 hours
- Number of participants: Min. 3, max. 5
- Only for persons aged 16 and over
- Material and firing costs are included in the price.
- A small manual with instructions for making pottery on the potter's wheel is also included.
- Note: No warranty claims. Liability lies with the participating persons.
If the course falls on a public holiday, you can either add a day to the end of the course or arrange to attend on a different day with the instructor. If you are unable to attend a day, we can always offer you one or two alternative dates to make up the course before or after the scheduled date.
Cancellations and Rebooking
- Participant Cancellation & Rescheduling: Free 14 or more days before the course starts. A fee of CHF 50 applies 7–14 days before the start. No refunds or rescheduling permitted within 7 days of the start or after the course begins. Rebooking is subject to availability and limited to once per booking.
Course cancellation by organiser: If the course is cancelled by the organiser, the course fee will be refunded in full.
Substitute participant: Admission of substitute participants is permitted.
Course changes: Organiser may change course details; participants will be informed in time.
