Ceramic pigments can be used for a wide variety of techniques: You can color clay and porcelain directly within the mixture – or stir them into engobes, underglazes, and glazes if the color is intended for the surface. Perfect for nerikomi, colored porcelain, marbling, or surface applications. All colors can be mixed together, so you can create a whole range with just a few pigments. It's best to fire your mixtures with a test piece first, as they look completely different before firing.
Nanocolors are produced in a very fine particle size, which offers many advantages. They disperse more easily in a glaze or slip, resulting in smoother, more flawless surfaces. During firing, the nanocolors fuse more effectively, producing purity, intensity, and brilliance. Because nanocolors are more concentrated, a smaller percentage is needed to create vibrant colors, making them extremely cost-effective. Due to their fine particle size, nanocolors are ideal for screen printing applications.
