In this three-hour course we will make a cup and a plate by hand with colored clay. The special feature of this course is the unique processing of the clay, which creates a kind of 'zebra pattern'. This technique called Nerikomi has its origins in Japan.

Die Teilnehmer werden lernen mit Farbpigmenten im Ton zu arbeiten und ihn dann so zu bearbeiten, dass ein mehrfarbiges Streifenmuster bzw ‘Zebramuster’ entsteht. Diese Technik wird Nerikomi genannt und sie stammt ursprünglich aus Japan. Aus dem farbig gemusterten Ton werden wir dann je eine Tasse und einen Teller herstellen. Dieser Kurs ist sowohl für Anfänger*innen als auch für Fortgeschrittene geeignet. Die entstandenen Gegenstände werden von uns abschliessend transparent glasiert und gebrannt und sind spätestens nach drei bis vier Wochen abholbereit.

Cancellation conditions:

Cancellation by participants: No refund for cancellations within 7 days before the start of the course or after the start of the course. Free cancellation 14 or more days before the course starts. We charge a fee of CHF 50 for cancellations 7-14 days before the course starts.
Course cancellation by organiser: If the course is cancelled by the organiser, the course fee will be refunded in full.
Substitute participant: Admission of substitute participants is permitted.
Course changes: Organiser may change course details; participants will be informed in time.
