FAQ COURSES

Our FAQ pottery courses answers your most frequently asked questions about db pottery's pottery courses.

There are suitable courses for all levels. From a selection of courses for beginners to workshops with well-known ceramic artists for advanced students.

Yes, if you are inexperienced in the world of ceramics, you must have attended a course to become a member of the db pottery studio. If you already have good knowledge and are familiar with the potter's wheel and glazes, you can simply book a db pottery instruction course and then become a member. The one-hour instruction course costs CHF 60.

Comfortable clothing. Although the clay washes out very well, it is better not to wear your favourite jumper. Everything else is taken care of, aprons are also available in the studio. The FAQ pottery courses also recommend no long fingernails! If possible, cut them a little shorter before the course starts.

Workshops in general:

  • Free cancellation up to 14 days before the start of the course.
  • Cancellation between 7 and 14 days before the start is subject to an administrative fee of CHF 50.
  • No refund for cancellations within 7 days before the start of the course or after the start of the course.

Workshop which require more organisation an preparation (this incl. all workshops held by guest mentors, all our regular Intensecourses and Intenseweeks):

  • Free cancellation up to 6 weeks before the start of the workshop.
  • Cancellation between 4 and 6 weeks before the start is subject to an administrative fee of CHF 50.
