Ceramic Workshops at Zurich Design Weeks 2025
Every year in September, Zurich Design Week transforms the city into a playground of creativity, with exhibitions, talks, walks, pop-ups, and workshops that invite the public to explore the world of art and design.
This year, db pottery studio is thrilled to join the lineup with two immersive ceramic workshops: one focused on the ancient technique of Raku firing, and another that explores form and flow through clay extrusion.
Why Workshops Matter
Observing artists at work is inspiring, but getting your hands dirty and making something yourself? That’s magic. Workshops offer a rare, hands-on glimpse into the design and production process and often leave you with a whole new appreciation for the craft.
Creativity should be accessible, that’s why we’ve designed these Zurich Design Weeks workshops to be affordable and welcoming to all skill levels. Whether you’re completely new to clay or already feel at home in a ceramics studio. You will be guided through every step, so no experience is necessary, just curiosity and a willingness to try something new.

Clay Extrusion Workshop - “Form Through Flow”
