Fun on the pottery wheel

Throwing and hand-building
In this event, the participants can get creative on the potter's wheel and in hand-building, with half of the team starting on the wheel and the other half trying out hand-building. Halfway the teams then swap. All participants are allowed to try out both techniques.

Nerikomi Workshop
Nerikomi has its origins in Japan and refers to differently coloured clay masses, which are joined together again in layers. We colour the clay together in the workshop and then process it further into a coloured clay with a pattern. We will then create 1-2 objects.

Carving Plates

Cup in hand-building
Hand-building is ideal for absolute beginners. In this two-hour event, all participants work on a handmade cup or mug.

Ceramic objects trough hand-building
This hand-building event runs for three hours and we will immerse ourselves in the basic principles of the slab technique. Participants will have the opportunity to create two different objects of their choice.

Plates on the pottery wheel
We also work with the pottery wheel here. We are focussing exclusively on the production of plates.
We will produce 1-2 objects, which can be decorated with engobe as desired by the participants.
