The course is aimed for children aged 8-14 years. The participating children can be creative in a playful way and make objects on the potter's wheel. They are going to create 1-2 objects.

In this course, the children learn the basics of pottery on the wheel. Starting with a short introduction and a demonstration, the participating children will then sit down at the wheel themselves. They will practise centring and opening to make their own objects. The aim of this course is to develop enjoyment in ceramic craftsmanship and to promote self-confidence in relation to individual creativity. The children will produce 1-2 objects during this time. This course is made for children/young people aged 8 to 14 and is a fantastic opportunity to develop their craft skills and have fun at the same time.

On a Wednesday afternoon, the objects are thrown by the children on the wheel. They can choose a glaze and the studio team will finish the objects for the children.

Cancellation conditions:

Cancellation by participants: No refund for cancellations within 7 days before the start of the course or after the start of the course. Free cancellation 14 or more days before the course starts. We charge a fee of CHF 50 for cancellations 7-14 days before the course starts.
Course cancellation by organiser: If the course is cancelled by the organiser, the course fee will be refunded in full.
Substitute participant: Admission of substitute participants is permitted.
Course changes: Organiser may change course details; participants will be informed in time.
