FAQ COURSES

Our FAQ pottery courses answers your most frequently asked questions about db pottery's pottery courses.

There are suitable courses for all levels. From a selection of courses for beginners to workshops with well-known ceramic artists for advanced students.

Yes, if you are inexperienced in the world of ceramics, you must have attended a course to become a member of the db pottery studio. If you already have good knowledge and are familiar with the potter's wheel and glazes, you can simply book a db pottery instruction course and then become a member. The one-hour instruction course costs CHF 60.

Comfortable clothing. Although the clay washes out very well, it is better not to wear your favourite jumper. Everything else is taken care of, aprons are also available in the studio. The FAQ pottery courses also recommend no long fingernails! If possible, cut them a little shorter before the course starts.

A cancellation 7 days before the start of the course will be refunded in the form of a 100% voucher.

Cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours before the start of the course will be refunded in the form of a 50% voucher.

Cancellations under 48 hours will not be refunded. For all cancellations, however, we allow a name change at any time if the person cancelling proposes another person as a replacement.

In principle, it is the responsibility of the participants to attend all course dates. If it is not possible to take part in the glazing part (always the last date of a course lasting several weeks), it is possible to glaze on another course after consultation.
